After waking up at 4 in the morning, getting stuck behind trains at two consecutive railroad stations, and having to deal with an unusual number of technical difficulties on the show, Raed still managed a great segment on today's democracy now, where he outlined some important points about the recently blown up Askari mosque, the 11th and 12th Shia Imams associated with the mosque, and their significance to the largely Sunni population of Sammara.

(what he didn't mention, however, is my blasphemous theory about the 12th Shia Imam. Oh well, another chance lost for my 15 minutes of fame!)

If you have a slow connection or are otherwise unable to view the segment, you can read the transcript here.
